Overnight before flight
Stayed overnight, a very cold night -2 C and no control over thermostat in room. A heater was produced for us however. Thought a bath would warm us up, but no plug. Again one was produced, so all well. Perfect location for London bus service to the terminals. Plenty of buses running the route and a list is in reception to remind you of bus numbers. Most importantly room was clean.

It is an old property and the rooms and bathroom were not clean. There wasn't any staff to help 4 older ladies with luggage and the requested room near to an elevator for 2 handicapped ladies wasn't available. There wasn't a top sheet for the bed - only a comforter covered by a duvet that looked like it hadn't been changed recently. Thank goodness it was only for 1 night.

choice of lactose free food in the evening was limited and there was no indication at breakfast of lactose free status. Room was terribly small, a double bed table and chair although it was almost impossible to sit at the table as there was less than 2 feet betwen the end of the bed and the table
