Lovely hotel, but too hot
We love the citadines at Holborn and have stayed there many times. They have recently finished renovating and it looks lovely. Staff were great and the room was great. Only issue was that they have a centrally controlled heating system (despite having a controller on the wall in the room that does nothing that we could work out. The room was like a furnace, so we had to leave the windows open, which in December was then very cold. I would suggest the hotel changes back to individual room controls.

Place looks to have been recently done up and rooms are spotless. Room was a bit too warm with a warm duvet and couldn't get room below 19 degrees. Check-in was very slow as they wanted ID and then for cuatomers to sign up to something to check in to the room half an hour early. This was frustrating and a waste of time other than for data harvesting

This was our first time staying at a Citadines and I can honestly say how impressed we were with it. From the minute we walked in, the helpfulness of the reception staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and the great bathroom toiletries that are provided. The executive apartment was excellent. Fresh, clean and had everything you needed. Only thing that we felt let it down was the face you had to run the ahower for about 10 mins before hot water came through. First morning, we had cold to lukewarm shower as we werent told of this until we enquired about it. Subsequent showers were better. Location was great. Very central to good amenities and tourist attractions . Would stay there again
