Great hotel, lousy place to be
The hotel was great, however there is absolutely nothing to do nearby, but the service in the restaurant/bar is atrocious. Slow beyond belief, we had to keep chasing the staff to order, then get, a drink. It wasn't at all crowded, they just didn't seem to want to work. If you stay here, bring your own drink, or be prepared to die of thirst

I ordered fish and chips, the fish was terribly spoilt and smelt so awful. I complained and the kitchen came to retrieve the food. I was promised a refund, upon checkout on the 16th of July I spoke to the Senior Guest Relations Manager who gave me his card and once again promised to send an email and have the cost of the food refunded. As at writing this review today 8th August, no refund and no email update. This is terrible, serving guests spoilt food that could lead to health issues!

The hotel is great and staff are welcoming and friendly. Only critique is that we booked as we were travelling with plane spotters (and the hotel is right next to London City Airport). Paid extra for a room with a view over the runway only to be told on check in that there are no flights from midday Saturday to 1 pm Sunday (the entire duration of our stay). We just felt a bit duped. There was no mention anywhere of that on their website / room info page. Otherwise great hotel with brilliant connections into central London in the DLR. Useful to know that there’s no parking at the hotel - you park at the nearby Travelodge.

The hotel itself is absolutely fine, be aware, no phone signal in the room if you have calls to make. Front desks struggled to cope with sudden volume of travellers whose flights were cancelled however all staff were very polite and apologetic. Overall a good experience.

The hotel has a good location close to airport on foot. They do not provide a shuttle service for the travellers who have luggage. The TV signal was terrible as it kept blocking. No Bonvoy points when booking wth a second provider.

A perfect hotel and marvelous staff!
Moin was our receptionist. What a lovely greeting and such assistance…. Moin assisted my friend who used a cane, to open a door, explain handicapped parking, assigned us a lovely room near the elevator. The hotel was within walking distance to LCY and a 12£ taxi ride. Clean, lovely hotel with a casual and delicious restaurant!
