We were looking for something close to transit lines and comfortable after a long day of exploring London. This fit the bill nicely - within 10 minutes of two different tube lines that we could easily access most of London, and plenty of walkable places to eat. Being on a busy street, we heard a lot of street noises including sirens, and because we had the windows open due to the heat, they were sometimes disruptive. However, our friends on a lower floor didn't hear the street noises as badly, so maybe look to stay on a lower floor if you're easily disturbed at night by noises!

Not sure why so many bad reviews. Rooms are very small and basic but they are clean and for the money a decent area in walking distance to the tube. Can’t complain at all at this price, would stay again.

Vent in bathroom had layers of dust. Walls dirty. Towels stained. Shower tile was pink like it hasn’t been scrubbed properly. Very worn down furniture. Beds hard.

Loved this hotel. It was very nice to stay in. The rooms were large and clean amd had everything we needed. They had provided 2 fans in the room as it was the hottest day in the UK so far. It wasnt too noisy considering the window was open all night either. Ever so slight convern about walking to the local tube station at night. But thats because i had my kids with me.

Be warned. This hotel is not what it looks like in the pictures. The rooms are dated and the beds sqeak terribly. The showers are tiny. The room has no AC, so yod have to open the windows at night, which let in the noise of police car sirens, odor of open sewers and cigarette smoke and bugs! There’s no breakfast, but coffee shops are just down the street. There’s a Sainsbury’s across the street. My room had an ironing board but no iron; it had an electric kettle that does not work, a TV that has four channels. The furniture were dusty. Everyday the staff comes to bring clean towels that smell like sweat (I think they use unscented detergents). Overall, not worth £150/night.

Pretty rough
The beds were not comfortable at all. It was extremely hot in the room with two fans that did not work well. Lastly it was very noisy as it is right next to a busy street. On a positive note, the front desk staff was very friendly.

The day staff at reception called javad very rude,you ask him something he will say okay but nothing gets done, the window in my room didn't lock so anyone from outside can get in as I was on the ground floor,when raining the toilet ceiling had a leak under the light which was broken wires showing,plus the damp and mould in corners,i have video and pictures to prove this.
