Take ID and a physical credit/debit card.
Hotel was basic but ok. Had an issue checking in, luckily a colleague had id and a bank card as I don’t travel with either, just Apple Pay. Maybe send an email before hand to say that they’re needed or no check in. Also instead of a hold on my card, the payment was taken the day before but the receptionist told me it was a hold/pending payment but it was not, so my colleague and I had both paid for both rooms and we were lied to. My money was refunded 2 days later.

The property was good, did what it said on the tin and met our needs well. The big issue I have was a that we chose ‘pay at the property when booking’ we were only staying one night but the payment was taken 5 days before our stay. This is obviously their policy and I know it was a pre-authorisation and will credit back I to my account within a week but that was the entire cost of the stay. The hotel should either not offer pay at property for one night stays (as I at this time have 2 debits on my bank account t until the pre-auth is returned) or you should do a £0.00 check (which you can do and would prove card is valid). Apart from that as I have said was a good hotel and nights stay.
