Basic, no frills, tired hotel
Very basic hotel, fine for a room for the night and handy for the underground. Got water in the shower and clean linen. Needs some renovating and upgrading. 2 star at best! Would not stay again.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! It is dirty. Mold is all over the bathroom. Orders come out of the pipes in the bathroom. It is dark. There is not any air conditioning, so you have to open the window. The hotel is in a sketchy area, so you hear all of the crime and pot smoking outside. If we had not been in a foreign country, we would have left. It is dangerous and dirty.

The hotel was generally a worksite. The room was dirty as was the linen. The room only had one plug and nowhere near the bed. The walls were filthy and full of holes. Regret booking this hotel regret using hotels.com. And if this app allowed me to put pictures I would show you all of the above.

Poor condition
Reception staff werent very helpful were sat on phone calls most of the time and ignored people that were waiting. Baggage room wasnt locked. Mould in room and doors falling off hinges. Stains on walls and lights without covers on and sockets not fixed properly to the wall. Bathroom door wouldnt close. Linen bags just left in hallways.

The owner seems failing to replace toilet systems. it was all broken, i advised reception to spend a night stay amountnto replace. shower head was not properly working. it appeared big joke to any international visitors.

Bed wasn’t the best and could feel all the springs, base was like a camp bed so emphasised every movement. Room was very hot - could open window all the way which was good for the breeze but bad for safety. Toilet took about half an hour to refill, and the toilet roll holder was barely holding onto the wall. The sink started to block up if you ran the tap for more than a minute and we didn’t go near the shower which was over the bath, surrounded by old bad tiling. No safe in the room and receptions idea of a safe room for valuables is just a storage room to the left of reception that isn’t locked or even kept closed. No note taken of which room we were from or any form of ID so ended up using Stasher and paying another chain hotel to look after our bags each day.

I would not recommend this hotel !
The room was terribly small, not very clean, and the bed wasn't very comfortable. The room didn't look clean and the window wasn't sealing properly, so it sounded like sleeping outside. The entire place needs a refurbishment.

AVOID!!! Ok so as a 2 star I wasn’t expecting much - but was expecting it to be clean and safe - which it wasn’t!! Good points: the bed linen & towel were clean. The man at check in was friendly. . Bad points: the room was disgustingly dirty! So much so we had to keep our socks on when walking around. The windows were broken, didn’t shut properly so was ridiculously noisy (and very unsafe). There were dead bugs in the net curtain, mould, thick dust, tiles hanging off, rusty shower in the bathroom and the extractor fan didn’t work as it was so clogged with dirt, dust and grime that was falling out! The kettle was unsafe as didn’t switch off so would keep boiling and boiling. And the remote control had no back to it, was filthy and didn’t work. Communal areas were stinky and dirty. Night staff only cared about watching the football on the tv with about 15 other men filling the lobby area. Expedia should stop advertising this god awful place as it’s a health hazard!!

Given; it was unusually hot for London. No airconditioning; two tiny windows. One of them taped shut with duct tape. The second one would not open at first. Asked to send someone; no one ever came. We also came early; the area to leave the luggage is just the lobby; wide open to anyone. It did not feel save- they could not tell us what room we’ll get later so we could just leave our luggage there. Quite inflexible procedures. Would not go back there
