Overnight stay before LHR flight.
Good welcome on arrival. Helpful staff eho listened to questions about bus to catch to reach T2 LHR next day. Tasty food provided in restaurant with pleasant/helpful staff. No noise from LHRt at all, despite building being across the road from the airport due to very thick glazing/sound proofing. Hotel pick up bus was running but allow time for it to visit three other nearby hotels, to pick up other passengers after your pickup. It cost Ā£6.80 each, one way payable by bank card. We understand the red London Transport bus is cheaper, but it appeared to be running late ...

We picked this hotel because it appearsedto offer a shuttle to Terminal 2. Infact this is not bespoke, just the Airport Hotel shuttle which stops locally which can be unreliable and takes around 30 minutes to Termainal 2, according to the staff. The staff were unable to call us a black cab, so we booked the hotel transport, which is a private vehicle, Ā£21 to Termian Two in under 10 mins. The Black Cab fare had been Ā£17. The hotel staff are friendly and our stay was short due to flight times, but our room was very clean and we've no complaints.
