This is a lovely little hotel on a quiet tree lined street. But close to Kensington High Street and all of its transportation and shopping amenities.

The place was up to date ,clean ,staff was very friendly,breakfast was good,a bit out of the way from central London but nice area,the only negative was that the room was very small.

The hotel was unacceptable. They have cats there. I have a strong allergy to cat dander, which was everywhere. I never imagined that I would have to ask a decent hotel whether they have cats around. I have asked the manager/owner for a complete refund, to which she agreed. We moved to another hotel. Please facilitate my complete refund for this ridiculous fiasco.

Nice location a d hotel but a little dissapointed
I booked 2 rooms both classed as King size... i am unsure if this was bed size and if so the bed was not king size in fact more like a double. The room was clean and had an en-suite bathroom. Our window strangley looked into the breakfast room but had opaque glass and a curtain for privacy. The teceeption staff werehelpful and courteous, hotel clean and perfectly situated in Kensigyon ro all the amenities. My sleep was disturbed on both nights by firstly rattling and banging as we were next to the kitchen and the sevond night i was woken by food stinking out our room... saugages being cooked at 1pm ish? Breakfast was ok but they did t have alot of variety. I would possibly go back if not in the basement... perhaps the other rooms were bigger amd better... an honest review of the hotel. At the end of the day i needed a base to explore london and thats what i got.

Very attentive & nice staff; very clean; had lifts, so dragging suitcases upstairs; ok breakfast, a bit sparse if you ate later; room was very small with no place for large suitcases & the overhead shower ran outside shower stall so used handheld showerhead, but water was easy to regulate; however, overall it was a great place to stay!

Clean and safe, but not as kept up as possible.
Several of the rooms fixtures did not work or worked poorly: the towel rack would not turn on, a few valves leaked, and only one of the bedside tables worked. Most egregiously, the aircon did not turn on and the window was not large enough to make up for it.

Staff was excellent and very helpful. Great location near Kensington Olympia station, easy to get everywhere with train/tube. Included breakfast was nice, the only small negative is, the hotel room was very small, bathroom also small, however everything was great. We would stay there again.

2 night stay for Wimbledon
Polite, helpful staff. Hotel very clean. Room small but with good facilities. Bed very comfortable and choice of pillows. Net curtain broken so wouldn’t fully close. Breakfast adequate for size of hotel. Very well situated for Kensington Olympia station, 3 minutes walk. Would stay again as good value for money.

My mother and I have just returned after a great few days spent in London. Kensingston Prime Hotel was an ideal location for our travels. The staff were all so nice and always had a quiet warm welcome when we arrived back to the hotel. We had one of the basement rooms - hesitant at first but there was no need. The room was on the small side but so comfortable and had everything that we needed. Breakfast is provided compliments of the hotel which was a lovely addition. Small buffet but very tasty which set us up rightly each day. The hotel is situated on a quiet residential street but is close to the top of Kensingston high street where you can hop on a # 9 bus that gets you right to the centre or walk a few minutes down to Kensingston Olympia overground station and go one stop to pick up the district line (Green). We found this very handy to get to Wimbledon. No where was too far away. The hotel was great value for money considering the location. I will definitely have this hotel top of my list if visiting London again.
