We loved our stay here. The staff were all fantastic - so friendly and made it feel like a home away from home. It was immaculately clean. The rooms are a little tired but the cleanliness, awesome staff, pastries, hot drinks and location more than make up for it. We would recommend The Tangerine to others for sure!!

We slept so terribly the first night that we decided to forgo the 2nd night and paid for a different hotel. The walls were so paper thin that it was very loud from above, next to and outside of the room. Most of the electric outlets did not work so that was very inconvenient. The location was great. The people at the front desk were kind and hospitable but it wasn't enough to make up for the noise issue and hard as a rock bed.

A trip to Universal Studios
The hotel was clean comfortable with good facilities including coffee machine and fridge. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The hotel has a heated dipping pool and terrace and there is ample safe car parking. A good selection of restaurants are all within easy walking distance. The breakfast of fresh pastries and coffee was a nice touch. Universal and Warner Brothers studios are very nearby. We would certainly return.

Hotel was location was great for going to Universal. Staff was very friendly. Manager was very nice to talk to. Chocolate croissants were incredible. Kids loved the pool.

Overall, this was an excellent stay. The furniture was a little outdated, but the room was clean and comfortable. Complimentary parking was a plus. Breakfast was limited, but free. Great location with nearby access to shopping and restaurants. Nice hotel for the price.

The Tangerine is a classic and simply styled hotel in a prime spot between Burbank and Los Angeles. It was a convenient central location for us to travel and the free parking made it cheaper to stay there than anywhere else in the city. The staff is friendly, the pool is warm, and the pastries are delicious.

Fantastic 6-night stay at a cute, clean, retro, and very friendly Burbank motel. Wonderful Mexican restaurant next door with delicious food and drinks, convenient parking, relaxing heated pool, and fun/quirky room decor cemented the Tangerine as our new go-to accommodations when visiting the LA/Hollywood area!

The staff were all very nice and accomodating. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. We loved the neighborhood and access to tons of food options. The hotel lobby had an amazing coffee machine and yummy pastries for breakfast. We did venture out for a walk and found a small french bakery, Lou, The French On The Block, nearby, must go!!! Chocolate Almond Crossiant. Dinner we went next door for Mexican, Don Cuco, great margaritas, chips and salsa, and tasty food. We enjoyed everything! The best part about staying at the Tangerine was the retro feel of the property. It is small, which makes it feel more like a B&B not a hotel. Yes, it is a motel and not a resort but it checks all the boxes for a comfortable place to stay while you explore the nearby attractions. It is very close to Warner Bros studios and 2 miles away from Universal Studios I wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the other restaurant options nearby but would definitely come back and stay at the Tangerine.

My husband and I enjoyed staying at the Tangerine. The room we were in was newly renovated with wood flooring and smell of tangerine as we walked in our room. My brother and sister were next door to us but there room was not updated like ours. They served pastries every morning and had an amazing coffee machine that made many yummy coffee and tea. The location was down the street from many restaurants and just a 10-15 minute walk to Warner Bros Studio. Overall, our say was great. We would definitely stay here again as this was our second time staying at this location.
