Great for a one night stop over in town
Attentive efficient reception crew, nice big room, super comfortable enormous bed and good shower. Enjoyed our one night stop over and would highly recommend to others for great value and good central location.

Photos very deceptive and not reflective of the condition of the rooms which are very tired and have not been invested in (broken AC unit 'fixed' by adding portable unit to the room). Room a lot smaller than photos indicated too.

Good budget hotel, with spacious room. Couldnt turn the radiator off in our room and the heating was on constant. Were by the main road so we couldnt open the window to cool it down due to the noise. Had a short wait for room to be ready after check in time.

Poor on so many levels
The room was far too hot, the dyson fan provided did not help to reduce the room temperature. Condensation was constantly on the windows. The noise from the main road continued throughout the night, so therefore our sleep was disturbed, alongvwith quests banging doors. My breakfast was not cooked correctly the poached eggs were not cooked, the bacon was over cooked hard and burnt. I could understand if they were rushed in the restaurant but there was only one other couple in the restaurant when we went for breakfast at 08.30. We raised our concerns with reception and were informed it was due to staff sickness, that was a very poor excuse! We have stayed here many times but we think this will be the last time. Poor service leads to unhappy customers.

Just Perfect!
Everything was great. Location 2 mins walk from the train station and the tram to all locations including the Trafford Centre. Courteous, attentive staff and the rooms were clean, with a huge bed and high ceilings. I travel a lot and this was right up there with some of the best city centre hotels I’ve stayed in

Had a truly awful time there! We were staying on the 1st floor -room 108- beautiful room BUT firstly the noise coming from the lobby: Super loud music underneath us, made that we couldn’t sleep for over a couple of hours THEN were SO HOT it was very uncomfortable (less than 2 hours sleep!!) and we couldn’t change the temperature with the remote so I tried calling downstairs for help BUT the room phone wasn’t working(dead line) and the cherry on the cake after spending over £300/night there was only 1 Towel and 1 hand towel for a double occupation room! Would not return.

Nice, but 'room' for improvement .
The hotel room was really impressive with a very cosy big, big, bed. Two things coupd have been better, only one toilet roll in the room. Also, whilst there were two sets of towels, one set was tucked into a small black bag that we fortunately saw. Its a double room, with two guests, just put both sets of towels out. For the price to not include breakfast was steep, which further emphasises the small details you would expect for that price margin of room.

Convenient location
The location is perfect if you want to stay close enough to shopping, restaurants and the main train station. It was easy to walk to dinner or coffee shops. The room needs a bit of updating but it’s still clean and comfortable. If you have a room along the Main Street, it can be a little loud at night if you have the window open. The restaurant downstairs seemed to close early, even on weekends.

Nice hotel, speedy check in/out. Room was really excessively hot - discussed with reception for a solution just told it was an old building with one boiler so can't do anything. Just 1 bath towel for a double room with 2 occupants - eco friendly but inadequate.

I was disappointed with my stay. I paid for an “enviable” room and although it was large it was certainly not enviable! There was a used Starface pimple patch and hairs in our bed and hairs in the sink plug hole. The room was too cold and it was noisy at night with visitors returning very loudly until the early hours of the morning. Breakfast the next day was terrible - they forgot my daughter’s order entirely, our “hot” breakfasts were cold when they arrived and the waitress was grumpy and unaccomodating. For the amount of money I paid I felt very annoyed.
