Llegamos a la Medina de noche muy cansados y a pesar de tener guía que conoce la zona Nunca encontramos el Riad Samara....por lo tanto no pudimos hospedarnos.....Por suerte encontramos otro Riad....creo que perdimos el dinero que pagamos por adelantado en esta reservacion...muy mala suerte.

The room was cold and damp which was very unfortunate as my mother is in her 80’s so this wasn’t the best. The hotel staff did put the heating on which helped and they tried to move us to another room but that didn’t have a wardrobe. In the end we had to go elsewhere & pay more money.

Very good stay & friendly service
I had a pleasant stay at this riad. The room was nice, the host was very friendly and helpful. Rooftop terrace is of course always a bonus! If you like, the host can organise you various excursions, for reasonable prices. Good location also. Good value for money overall, I'm happy to recommend this riad to others!

Nicely decorated Riad on a budget
Good- In a part of Medina that is not too busy. Food available close by. 15 minute walk straight down to the main square. Nice decoration of Riad and room. Good air con. Good on a budget Bad- Bed linen didn't look like it had been washed. Stains visible. English not really spoken (making you aware not complaining). Shower water came out like it would from a tap one straight fall and drainage was very bad and water would collect.

Not good at all
The person at the road did not speak any English or French so it was kind of impossible to comunicate. The person in charge was only through the phone. We paid for breakfast and no one serve breakfast. Not happy at all.

Do yourself a favour and avoid this riad
In short: very very bad. The Riad does not match what is advertised. It's advertised as having 24h front desk, it doesn't. We had to wait 15 minutes at the door in the middle of the night until someone came and opened the hotel for us! I booked a room with "one double bed and two single beds", but I got only the double bed. I paid the entire cost on hotels.com "including taxes and fees" but ended up paying more "taxes" at the hotel itself. On top of that, there was no air conditioning in the room in the middle of a Marrakech summer, and no warm water in the shower. The shower drainage was blocked. The room itself wasn't dirty, but the rest of the Riad is. Did I mention that the map to the riad was wrong and we had to ask around and knock doors in order to get to the riad? How about customer service? Well, there wasn't much service since the hotel actually had no servers to begin with; they gave us the keys and left. In the morning a lady came to serve breakfast but she retaliated to our complaints by refusing to serve us the breakfast that we already paid for!!!

The riad is very basic- about what you would expect for the price. Our room was dark and inadequately furnished. The shower was unhygienic with its piece of lino as a bath mat. The owner was friendly but keen to sell us extra trips, airport transfers etc before we had even seen the room. Breakfast was fine but the coffee was poor.

No muy recomendable
Muy dificil de encontrar. El vuelo se retrasó 25 minutos y el transfer se habia ido. La zona bastante desagradable y la habitación húmeda y fría.
