Upon arrival there was someone in a hazmat suite bleaching a room down the hall from ours. The smell of mold and bleach was quite strong. Several staff members seemed miserable to be there and it showed on their face and in their responses. The pool was closed for maintenance but that wasn’t mentioned prior to booking.

The day after my stay, I found a large cockroach in the room. When I arrived, the room was dirty, the bathroom had mold in the tub, and the shower curtain was torn all over the place.

I stayed from 08/29/25 to 08/31/25 and had an excellent stay, thanks to the outstanding service from Juan Vazquez at the front desk. He went above and beyond to accommodate my elderly father by arranging a first-floor room close to the entrance and breakfast area, with a beautiful lake view. Juan was professional, welcoming and answered all my questions with patience and care. Because of his exceptional service, I’ll continue to stay here in the future. He truly deserves recognition for his dedication and hospitality.

My stay was from August 17th-August 23, a whole week. I had plastic surgery in Miami. It was a nice average 3 star hotel.. we had a problem with our first room being a bit dirty like the floors and the bathroom like the floors weren’t swept well but the front desk did move us and it sorted out. Now I will say they have ants like sugar ants. I also had the same issue staying in another 3 star hotel in Miami last year, the hotel needs to work on getting rid of that and also being more clean when it comes to sweeping, mopping etc. Overall though it worked out, they serve breakfast every morning staring at 7am-9:30am, we weren’t able to catch breakfast but just to throw that out there for anyone interested. It is a pretty good hotel, staff was very nice. It is very close near food and shopping areas, literally walking distance so it’s a good hotel just a few things could be worked on. We enjoyed our stay at the Palms Inn

The property is located in Kendall area, walking distance to restaurants, and shoppings. Also ease to access from and to the expressway. Room needs to be updated. Definitely it's not 8/10. For me was more like a 5/10. People were friendly and breakfast was good.

I enjoyed my stay the bed was comfy and the room clean. There was a 100$ deposit that i got back immediately after handing in my door key. Check out is at 12 which is great more then enough time to have their free breakfast and get ready
