A beautiful historic building right in the centre of everything you need to see in Florence. You can walk to the most popular places. Reception very friendly and helpful. Family room spacious and very clean. Breakfast fabulous. We would highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

The little rug next to the bed was dirty & we had to ask for clean cups because the service people didn’t take the dirty ones. In fact, they put a dirty cup with left over coffee in it, in the bar fridge. Also we don’t drink alcohol so I asked if we could replace the beer with coke and the cleaning lady said no. So having a free minibar wasn’t really beneficial. Aldo, they didn't replace the snacks, after the first s day…. The area also felt a bot unsafe. A number of people walked in to the hotel behind us & didn’t seem to be staying there, just looking around. This made me feel that perhaps they could make their way up the lifts too & break into people’s rooms.
