Soak up the Victorian historic charm with all the modern updates in this 750 sq. ft. newly furnished ONE-BEDROOM private home that underwent a gorgeous designer renovation by Holly Baker of HGTV's show New Orleans Reno. This Bywater Beauty is listed as one of the 15 best Airbbā€™s in New Orleans. Guests always comment that the rental is even more stunning in person than the photos show & the host is quick to respond!

Fodor's named the inspiring Bywater neighborhood a TOP TRAVEL DESTINATION for 2019 and Louisa Street is the perfect Bywater street to absorb the local flavors on while relaxing outside on the large front porch. The spacious chic interior with its 12.5" ceilings and luxurious Hotel Collection bedding will also accommodate all possible needs!

The home is located on the most popular corner of the hip Bywater neighborhood and is on the same street and less than a block from some of NOLAs best restaurants and bars such as Markeyā€™s Bar, Bud Ripā€™s, and The Country Club restaurant bar and pool. At home in the Bywater
As soon as I stepped through the door of this Bywater Beauty I felt at home. I just felt comfortable, relaxed without a sense of needing anything more. The location is great with a short walk to many cozy quieter neighborhood restaurants, bars, and cafes. Frenchmen Street (Marigny music clubs), and French Quarter were easily walkable too. My wife and I used our feet to get everywhere except for the cable car we took to get out to the Garden District. Our host, Suzanna, is very proactive and super responsive ensuring our stay went off without a hitch. When I'm in New Orleans in the future I will definitely try to reserve her place again.

A perfect stay in the Bywater neighborhood
The property is a beautifully renovated New Orleans style shotgun house, located in a quiet Bywater neighborhood, an easy walk to the French Quarter. The owner could not have been more hospitable. We loved our stay and are already looking forward to the next visit.

Beautiful in Bywater
The house and location was perfect. Bywater is a neat community with lots of local restaurants, coffee houses and pubs. We ate somewhere different everyday. It was fun exploring the community. we went on lots of walks and bike rides. I was fun meeting Suzanne, we got to see the video of the renovation. Really nicely done. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Perfect Stay!
Suzanna was a friendly and excellent host, and her place was an authentic addition to our time in New Orleans. The location was everything we wanted, in a beautiful Nola neighborhood with nearby restaurants, and the water front literally in walking distance! The home is wonderfully styled and cozy. Will definitely be staying here again!

Very nice!
We loved staying in this home. I would return to it if I pass through New Orleans again. Everything is perfect in the house and as described. I was unsure of the location as I wanted to be somewhat close to the quarter and this was just right. My husband and I even walked to the quarter but it was a good 25 minute walk. We loved sitting on the front porch in the evening and feeling the vibe of the neighborhood. There are several restaurants in close walking distance and all were good. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful Bywater rental
This place was amazing! The location was perfect. It was a few blocks from numerous bars and outstanding restaurants. The French Quarter and Frenchman St. were less than a mile walk. The neighborhood was beautiful and the home itself was beautiful. The host Suzanna was wonderful, very helpful and willing to answer any questions and give recommendations. This will definitely be our go-to place for New Orleans.

Longer Stay Needed
Our only regret was we wish our stay was longer , our host Suzanna was very easy to get ahold of and responded to any of our requests for restaurant recommendations or questions pertaining to the property. The rental is extremely clean and everything you need is provided . If you want a New Orleans experience , my advice is rent here, eat and drink local on a night or two. Go the short drive to the French Quarter to check out the sites, but embrace the unique local culture. We will be back.

Beautifully restored gem in an ideal location with an amazing host!
We had a great time in NOLA! Things are a bit quieter at the moment, which was just fine for us. We spent one day fishing which was lovely to see the water and wildlife, but we mostly enjoyed the walkable, safe, and eclectic neighborhood. Suzanna made us feel right at home, and even invited us to a neighborhood block party and outdoor music event. It was cool to meet her friends and neighbors and hear some good tunes while eating jambalaya and sipping wine on the street. Back at the house every detail was anticipated and graciously accommodated. We enjoyed the kitchen and front porch, even watched a little TV for the Saints game. The second half of the game was enjoyed a block down at the bar, at Markeys, which did a great job by socially distancing and contact tracing each party. (Something you don't see everywhere in this country but should.) Lastly, the bed was comfortable and we slept very well. Can't wait to come back for a longer stay!

My Bywater stay
Suzanna is a super easy to deal with and we were able to check in early too!! Itā€™s a beautiful place and the neighborhood is very nice. Parking is at a premium but we were able to park right in front of the property most of the time. Thereā€™s lots to see and do...bring your walking shoes!! Thank you Suzanna for all you did for us to make our stay memorable.

Perfect in every way
This wasnā€™t a typical Nola trip for me or for Nola in that i incorprated yoga, major walks, early mornings, early bedtimes. The house was fantastic, calm and light. the sitting porch where the neighbors say hi not once but every time they pass! The neighborhood vibe is so cool with just enough of a mix of old and new. Thank you i want to come back. Is tomorrow too soon?

Beautiful bywater home
I enjoyed the location of the property as well as the check in process of being able to unlock the house myself & safe with an alarm system. The location was perfect to be able to walk to coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and for sight seeing all around the bywater.

Everything you need, everything you want!
We've been burned in the past by listings that look stylish but lack the basics, but there was absolutely nothing missing from Suzanna's gorgeous, wonderfully located Bywater apartment, where we stayed for a week. It looks just as it does in the listing, and while compact, has plenty of space for hanging out, especially in the huge kitchen and welcoming front porch. The TV was Roku-equipped and good to go for watching a crucial Game of Thrones episode, the washer and dryer are large enough for long stays, and Suzanna is right next door with help and recommendations if needed--she also left copious written information, brochures, and New Orleans suggestions in the apartment. The Bywater is a great base!

Perfect from start to finish!
From start to finish, Suzanna's Bywater Beauty was a perfect & welcome contrast to the chaos of Jazz Fest. Was lovely to have a bright, open & comfortable space to call home after being at the Fairgrounds all day and shows at night. Suzanna was a great host & provided wonderful recommendations for food & drink in the Bywater. Speaking of the Bywater - it was my first time staying in that neighborhood and won't be the last, it's full of character and good times. Don't hesitate in booking Suzanna's place - you will love it & probably want to leave (I know I didn't!).

Beautiful space in a great location
We loved our stay. The host was super accommodating to our schedule, and set up everything before we arrived. All of the decor is beautiful. The ONLY reason im giving it 4 and not 5 stars is because of the local rooster (a neighborsā€™ rooster??) woke us up EVERY morning at 5am. I so badly wanted to give 5 stars... but that rooster made it SO hard to enjoy every moment.
