If you are looking at staying around Times Square on 42nd street there are certainly better options available. The security and restaurant staff were excellent so hats off to them, the reception staff were extremely unhelpful. The rooms are old and in need of a refit, 1 out 3 lifts were out of service meaning extremely long wait times. I would not recommend this hotel.

Loved our stay at Hilton!
This hotel was great! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was so welcoming and nice. There was security at the entrance which made us feel good. The hotel was steps away from the main part of Times Square. Two subways stations a block or less away. Restaurants and souvenirs shops very close. The hotel restaurant was really good also. We would definitely stay here again.

Only issue I had was the outside noise, you could hear everything happening in the hallways, doors closing, the elevator chime, walls were pretty thin to hear all that, being near the top of the building you could still hear the outside noise on the street. Room was comfy and compact but having a fridge and microwave is a plus especially in NY. I would still come back for future stays as it's a convenient walk to all the places I loved.

The room’s location was amazing! We had the best views of the city! The only comments, the fridge and shower leaked very badly. May need to re-caulk the shower door and replace the fridge.

This hotel is located right in the middle of Times Square which is a great location for everything you want to do in NYC. Subway is a minute away and there is a lovely Bryant Park around the corner for your morning coffee. We paid for a city view room on 63rd floor and the view was amazing ! Empire State Building was right in front of us, there is a perfect view of the One World Trace Center right in the middle of other buildings. They have a free coffee between 6am - 9am in the lobby and you get daily credit for the restaurant. The room was cleaned everyday. Check in and check out were smooth. Even though the hotel is located so central, it's very quiet in the room. Now, the person who was checking us in, kept straight face for the whole time, not one smile or attempt to make the welcome better. It doesn't take a lot to smile and be friendly but we noticed this was a common thing when in NYC. That's not something that wouldn't make us come back. The room was very small, so if you have two suitcases it can get very cramped. We were not bothered by it but some people might be. Our shower was leaking so after every shower the floor got very wet. Again, not something I bothered about. Bottle of water in the lobby is the most expensive product ($8). Security at the door is super nice but we noticed a homeless person walking in and not being asked for hotel card or anything. And lastly, they charge around £200 after your stay, I assume this is for the destination fee.

the room was on a low floor even though I did not ask for one. Right next to the elevator so was hearing that all during the night. Also they were doing construction on the building attached and started early in the morning even on weekends. Not really relazing
