Let’s start with the positive, the view to the lake and mountain was spectacular. Room was spacious and were able to make our meals in the room. Though situated on the main road, couldn’t hear the cars. Could update shower head. Fix the dripping toilet. The constant slamming noise of the fire doors at all hours was frustrating. Don’t think it’s suitable for families with young kids. No outdoor activities at the property. The carpark at the top, by the hedge needs a barrier against the front edge. . So you don’t drive too forward. In saying that. The motel suited our needs and good pricing. Would I stay there again. A high possibility..

The owners were very accommodating and allowed us to leave our bags there while we waited to travel home. The rooms are clean and quite large which was perfect for the two of us. Would definitely stay here again.

The Best Decision We Made When Booking New Zealand
It was outstanding and our hosts Vicki and Steve were always accommodating when needed.Due to an unforeseen circumstance we had to come to Queenstown 3 days before the actual reservation time. We had booked a courtyard suite however because we were spending the extra time they upgraded us to lake/mountain view suite. We never asked for a change.They were so nice to suggest it. A perfect view, a perfect location to walk downtown and access buses and a suite that was large the Earnslaw Lodge is a perfect place to stay at when visiting Queenstown.

I would not recommend this property. Bed was lumpy. Access to the unit from parking was difficuilt despite being on lower level. T V operation was a mystery. Manager had no idea of how to make TV work. There was no radio. Price was far too high for what one got. Just a bad experience.

Large spacious room and comfortable bed. Parking a valuable benefit. Helpful front desk. Easy walk to central shops and restaurants. Long-term road works outside in main road the only concern.

Gorgeous location
This is a decent hotel, and an amazing location, see attached picture. Everything was great. My only complaint was the shower, which has a very small showerhead and water temperature tended to fluctuate a bit. Other than that everything was good. Be sure to ask for a room with a Lakeview, it is absolutely spectacular.

Older building, but large room with everything I needed. Great to have parking. Though during my stay there was road works right out front, so not always easy to turn into the driveway if on the wrong side of the road. 15 minute walk into town

It’s a very centric small hotel. Our rooms were very clean, and exceded all expectations. Honestly, after being away from home for several weeks staying here felt closely familiar to staying home.
