Feel dissapointed i booked this hotel as feel it was massively mis sold! The rooms were extremely basic with TWO plug sockets! Freezing cold small, the duvet was paper thin, the bar on the side of the hotel was ridiculously expensive! We only stayed so we could get an early start for the airport but if id have booked for a weekend away i would have left! Food terrible! We got chatting to a couple and the bar closed at about quart to 11..no warning, so we were told go to reception they will serve you, well the woman on reception looked furious and charged us way over the odds for another drink! Never again.

Have stayed here many times before but this room was smaller than previously - it only had 2 power points so you had to decide between TV, kettle or charging your phone! The only other points were round pin!!! Room was also exceptionally hot Having the EV charger makes up for the minor issues though

Not the greatest service at breakfast Toaster broke, but then sorted 15 minutes later Had to ask for tea Bacon, mushrooms and hash browns. Waiting for 10 minutes Bit chaotic But staff did their best

Stayed for a night when up for a meeting. Free parking was a bonus. Receptionist when I checked in was so nice, I was early but she found me a room. The room was faultless, bed and pillows so comfortable, Shower excellent, big TV. Will stay from now on when in Newcastle
