It's very run-down and seems to be in the process of being closed. Most of the other hotels in that area have closed as well. The area is an old, mostly-empty industrial area that feels very unsafe. There is also nowhere nearby to get coffee. Overall I would say avoid this area for a hotel stay.

Somebody was right next to me fighting all night and I had my 4-year-old daughter with me so I have to go to the front desk and get a whole another room to sleep for the rest of the time he was there she woke up it wasn't a good day

It was just an overnight stay to catch an early flight the next morning. We were put in an older 2 story building that looked a bit run down. Granted the room looked better on the inside. I donā€™t think we would ever stay at this hotel again. We would prefer to stay at an internal type building. Feels more secured.

The inside of the hotel was overall clean had comfortable bedsā€¦. I traveled from Az to Oakland and from the moment I got off the freeway at 5pm I felt very unsafe the area is filled with homeless watching you and gĆ”nsters all around very sketchy neighborhood saw prostituts leaving the rooms and suspicious activity! I checked in the receptionist was very nice and I proceeded to the room which was upstairs near the pool area as I walked in the room it was clean and the beds were comfortable but the door did not have a latch and I felt even moreeeee scared for my life I didnā€™t want to complain so I decided to suck it up as I had my husband and kids with me which my kids were scared as well but we did end up staying there since I had payed online for 4 nights already! So we spent everyday at San Francisco and travled to Oakland to sleep eveyniggt scared for my life we had to push the sofa and put our luggage at the door to feel a little more safe since it had no door latchā€¦ also it states it has security and gates which the gate is open most of the time and the security doesnā€™t really check who comes in and out, if this hotel was in another area I would definitely book again but will definitely NOT be coming back to book at Oakland! If you want to sleep and feel safe at night and with your stay this place is definitely not for you!
