Upon arriving to check in we were greeted by a timeshare representative who kept us at check in for 15 minutes. We agreed to attend the time share meeting just to obtain the room key. Room amenities very nice and spacious. On the day of check out we heard banging at the door at 7am it appeared to be a woman that we couldn’t identify as she was not in uniform. My husband inquired through the door and she rudely asked when we were checking out.We informed her that check out was at 10am, she stood across from our room and waited until we checked out at 9am. While taking my items to our vehicle the unknown woman approached my family asking us if we were out of the room yet. I informed the front desk and no follow up was taken by their team. Not only is that poor customer service but very unsafe for their customers and families checking into this resort.

Had a very nice apartment in this "resort", which featured golf courses, basketball and pickleball courts as well as pool, lazy river, minigolf etc. (With exception of pool, there are extra charges for activities, which can be paid per use or you can get multiday passes). Had beautiful view over lake/beach... fantastic sunset. Good range of cable channels. To be fair our packed park and shopping agenda meant we were never in the resort long enough to use most of the facilities, so cant comment much on them. Although we did order in from the resort pizza restaurant one night, and shared a fine large pizza. What I can say is comfortable, generous, clean apartment with large comfy beds. All mod cons... washer, dryer, dishwasher, micro. Perfectly located for Disney, esp via Western Way to dodge traffic on the 192. Definitely will consider for next trip, when we would hope to make better use of the facilities.

Very pushy timeshare sales person, plus getting called in our room after. Was signed up for rewards program even though we said no thank you to this. Keep getting repeated emails with offers and rewards program stuff through travel booking company so tougher to block or unsubscribe

Orange Lake is the best resort with so many things to do and a variety of pools. It is a fun resort for kids and adults.

This was our second stay at Holiday Inn Orange Lake Resort. We decided not to pay extra for a water park unit this time since we planned to be off site most days. We had a two bedroom/two bathroom unit on the lowest floor. Beds and furniture were comfortable. Unit was clean. A nice screened porch was perfect for coffee in the morning. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was helpful. The three kids; ages 8,7 and 6, loved the pools and water slides on the days we did stay on site. They each made two Christmas crafts one day in the atrium at the resort office. The area was decorated very nicely and staff was friendly and cheerful. We ate at Paison's pizza and Breezes restaurant a couple times each. Very good food. Overall, this was a great place to stay and we will be back.
