The service was excellent. Pi took care of all my needs from early and late check out, printing, directions to nearby touring, arranging taxis and storing luggage. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and bright and it was quiet. Overall a great experience.

This hotel is a nice property, located on a very quiet side-street. It is within easy walking distance, (about 4 minutes) to a large shopping mall, which is also the closest parking area to the hotel, which has no parking, but does have an area out front (on a very quiet side street) to pull up and unload luggage and get checked in. Then, because of the way the streets are in Oxford, you have a 5 to 15 minute drive (depending on traffic, which always seems heavy) to get to the shopping centre underground parkade. The walk back is less than 5 mins on quiet side streets with a couple of pubs on them. I think the hotel should have an arrangement with the parkade management for a discounted parking cost for its customers. The parkade is attrociously expensive. The entertainment district starts just beyond the shopping mall, so it's a very easy walk to get to the area where the bulk of the bars, pubs, and restaurants are.

I stayed between 09/28/2024 - 10/04/2024. The hotel is structurally solid, feels like a new building, right across from the Oxford Castle and Prison. The Castle Mill Stream separates the Oxford Castle & Prison and this hotel. The hotel is within a short walking distance of Westgate shopping mall and the high street. The location of this hotel gets a FIVE STAR rating. However, could a few things be improved? Just as I was about to check out, a gentleman at the reception desk discovered an error in the system, specifically an incorrect room number. The line of questioning was not a pleasant one. This is an area the hotel management could possibly address for their own benefit. I rate this section ONE STAR. If you have a car, remember that there is no parking garage at this hotel. So, your best bet is the Westgate shopping mall underground garage, 6-9 minutes drive. So, a TWO STAR rating for not having a parking garage at this hotel. The staff are genuinely helpful and warm, but why ask which country I am from? I rate this section a TWO AND HALF STAR. There are areas for improvement and training. Unless you are super hungry and extremely tired, this restaurant’s food is not suitable for my age group (60 ). You will need to stock up on drinking water and breakfast essentials. I give this restaurant a TWO AND HALF STAR. Overall, good for a short stay and I found this hotel to be safe..

The property was in excellent condition. The breakfast buffet was of an excellent quality. The staff were very helpful. The only negative to the hotel was that there was no parking available. If you’re driving, the closest parking facility is about 3 blocks away, however driving there takes quite awhile as a result of one-way streets and road construction. I would definitely stay there again.
