Very convenient for Oxford city centre. Even though it was close to the busy centre, it was in a quiet side street. Very pleasant staff who were very helpful. Unfortunately, the bed was too hard for us.

The room decor was tired and not at all like the photos used on the website. The room also obviously backed onto a bar as you could easily hear music through the walls. Little things like the duvet cover being about twice the size of the duvet, the hairdryer had no power, all add up and so we were overall quite disappointed. Plus points however were that the shower was really good and powerful, and the location was excellent to explore the city.

Beautiful room and service. Shame about the noise.
My room was spotless and had all of the amenities that I needed. The bed was very comfortable too. Unfortunately the room that I was in was subject to disturbing levels of noise. Both nights after 10pm pounding club music started and went on until very late. I was there on Friday and Saturday, perhaps it’s better on other days. The other issue on Saturday night only was that the guests in the room above also made a lot of noise - very, very heavy footed, and at one point I thought that they were shifting furniture about. There was some shouting, but by the time I had decided to go down to the desk they had stopped. I will stay again, but will request a room well away from the room that I had on this occasion.

Excellent Break
The location could not be better.The staff could not have done more. A great room (superior double), very clean and well equipped. They gave us complimentary Prosecco and chocs for my wife’s birthday. The breakfast hamper was of excellent quality. We would definitely stay again

Perfect location for a short stay.
We stayed for just one night and only 24 hours in Oxford. The hotel is THE PERFECT location for a short stay as it is so central. It is relaxed yet stylish. It is beautifully decorated but maybe the scuff and crack here and there. Lovely continental breakfast delivered to our room too. Would definitely recommend.
