The property grounds are kept in immaculate condition and are beautiful ,tranquil and inviting. The interior of the accommodation is equally well kept. Very clean! Bed was comfortable and a small balcony was a lovely spot to relax. The kitchen is small and adequate for simple meals with stove top , microwave and bar fridge. Unfortunately I struggled with a very blunt knife, but in fairness I didn’t ask the proprietors about a better one, and believe they would have been willing to provide a solution if I had . The two male hosts are affable and helpful. I wasn’t prepared for the amount of stairs! There is no lift, so if stairs are a problem try for a ground floor apartment. Martinique on Macrossan is a short walk to some lovely restaurants, eateries, shops or to the beach. It is adults only which means enjoying a drink ,from an acrylic glass, in the garden won’t offend. Of course for safety - no glass by the pool.

Nice and clean apartment, easy walk to town & shops, very close to the. The resort has beautiful garden and pool area, we used the BBQ one night which was great. Only let down was lack of clothes dryer in laundry and their are no Laundromats in Port Douglas. We enjoyed our stay very much 🌞

Amazing hotel !
Excellent hotel. The room is amazing very big with livingroom area. Bedroom area with doors and plantation shutters, kitchen and patio or balcony depending on what level you are on. Property and managers are great. Very close to the beach and shops.

A lovely, well equipped apartment within walking distance of everything! Highly recommend this gem if staying in Port Douglas. Easy access to the reef and to Daintree Rainforest explorations. The town has lots of charm.

We’d only booked a one night stay at but needed to add another night. Unfortunately Martinique was fully booked but the relief manager, Barbara organised another night of child-free accommodation just across the road. That said, having only stayed one night at Martinique, we were disappointed to leave!

Happy to find out it was an adults only property which we we not aware of. Great spot close to 4 mile beach and in the main street of Port Douglas so everything was in easy walking distance. Property was very well equipped for all needs and friendly hosts.

Stayed 8 nights and had everything we needed. Enjoyed being in walking distance to restaurants, shops and beach. This property is an older style apartment building, stairs only, with a small pool and lovely gardens in the quieter end of Macrossan St. Ken & Colin are congenial and very helpful hosts.

Excellent stay at Martinique, very hospitable our hosts Ken and Colin went out of their way to ensure our stay was extremely positive, organising transport and tours, nothing like local knowledge to make the trip more enjoyable. The location is fantastic so close to the patrolled beach and Surf Club while on the doorstep of a diverse range of shops. The apartment well and truly met our needs.
