We stayed at Lopesan, and unfortunately, our check-in experience was less than ideal. The receptionist was not friendly, and though we had booked two rooms, only one was ready. We had to store all our luggage in one room and wait for the second, which, when finally assigned, was not near my son's room as we had requested. To make matters worse, our room had wet floors that remained damp. Around midnight, we called reception, and after sending someone to check, the technician advised that the room was damp and unsafe to stay in, so we had to move. Both my husband and I have mobility issues, and the hotel is enormous and not handicap-friendly. Despite this, we were moved to another room, far from our original one. The next day, we had to move all our luggage again, which involved a lot of walking. For all the inconvenience, we were offered a plate of fruit or a bottle of bubbly wine. While the hotel itself is beautiful, we had expected better service, especially after the difficulties we encountered during check-in.

The property is beautiful and clean. There is not enough staff to offer service around the pool area, and the people that are there seem unhappy in their job and act as if it is beneath them to service you. If there is the case they should not be in service. We order food for my son and took 1:20 minutes to get it. What it is incredibly too long for room service. We schedule to go to the steakhouse and got there 11 minutes late because we were put our son to sleep. The host call for the manager and the manager says we could not go in because we were late. I open my app and show him the policy what was 15 minutes. Then unhappily sat us and 30 minutes after that sat another couple next to us . That was insulting because he is not go let us in because we were 11 minutes late. Another incident at the Mediterranean restaurant the host doesn’t let us in because the hotel could not fix our app for we can make our on reservation. She told us we could not came in because the restaurant was full. We look in the restaurant and half of the tables was empty. We went to the guest service and he make us a reservation on his app to 8pm. She could just give us a time and make the reservation right there. Another incident we stay at the resort for 6 days, and we were there to celebrate my husband birthday as I mentioned when I did the reservation. Not only they didn’t do anything special for him but when I try to call and ask them for a little cake, or a champagne nothing was done.

The staff was not helpful at all, I was locked out of room for 3 hours since the keypad died on my door, and was told there was nothing they can do for me. You had to make reservations for the restaurants each night and everything was pretty much booked already. Some of their restaurants were 18 and over which was not fair since I paid the same amount for my daughter to stay there. They had vendors on the property who hounded you to buy from them everytime walking by. Also the employees were asking for food and drinks from the guests. The casino was very small and not like advertised. The place itself was beautiful but it was very poorly managed.

During the first few days of our stay was fantastic. However, by the end of the third day, I was overwhelmed by what appeared to be food poisoning. I spent 4 out of my 7 days at the resort, in and out of the onsite clinic and confined to close proximity of my room. I am a very selective eater, and the buffet was the last 2 places I ate from before falling seriously ill. The resort seems nice for the 2 days I explored but management needs to relook food safety measures immediately. Also, management should consider ways to vent or air out large indoor areas occupied by multiple persons. They all have a strong sickening chemical or musty/moldy smell. Even the smell of the rooms based on the cleaning solutions used had an uninviting smell. But, there was no doubts whether the rooms were clean. What was suppose to be fun and relaxing for my wife and I almost costs me my life. It ultimately turned out to be a waste of finances because we were unable to enjoy what we invested in, and had to spend a lot of money at the clinic and pharmacy for treatment. Also, lost all monies spent on excursions because of illness. Whoever is deciding on visiting this resort, be food cautious with the buffet.

This resort was not what I expected at all, Althought this resort is very beautiful & elegant unfortunately my stay was not as pleasant as I would have like it to be. It all started from our check in once we went to check in we were greeted by receptionist who didn't seem so happy to be there it was more like we were being told by a drill Sargent things we could and could not do but we brushed it off and moved forward. After we settled in we started to explore the property which is really phenomenal. Unfortunately when it came time to eat we didnnot have a pleasant experience the food is really the worst food i have ever eaten to the point where my significant other became sick from eating the food, its unfortunate that a resort that is so beautiful has such poor quality when it comes to giving their guest something so simple as food all the money paid for an all inclusive and the quality of the food was just a horrible experience we couldn't even enjoy the resort for the three days fully paid not to mention the service was not as great when it came to trying to order room service or trying to book a reservation the phone rings no one answers the app aswell doesn't work we tried several times to book and reserve things like a massage and make reservations for the restaurant's on the property w out luck. What was supposed to be a beautiful weekend getaway turned into my girl getting severely sick from her stomach and we did not get to properly enjoy our hard earned money.

It is a nice clean property but people at the front desk is not customer service oriented and do not know about hospitality, from the moment I checked in, the front desk assistant told my brother that he could do the job of a bellboy because he already knew where the elevators were since he had checked in a day earlier . This was such a luck of respect and a comment that I consider extremely humiliating giving the fact that we are the guest of this hotel and we were there to rest , not to the job of a bellboy ! Next day we requested a reservation for the restaurants and the same receptionist told us he does not do that that we have to come back next day during business hour to the “public relationship department “ at that point it was the Arrogance that bother me , there are better way to express one does not do certain things , it give the vibes of a public government institution. Management needs to chose people that is more respectful and able to deliver five start customer service

Everything was fantastic, from the moment we entered until we left. The food was great from all restaurants and the buffets were on point. The infinity pool was huge and spacious. Nightly shows, drinks and more drinks. The room was spacious and a big balcony. Everything was perfect!!
