The hotel lobby/pool/room were all sufficient for the cost. Unfortunately the elevator situation at this hotel is enough to ruin an entire weekend. There were times when we waited 35 minutes to get an empty elevator. There are no stairs to take from the main floor. It is painful, and quite frankly ridiculous and that’s not taking into consideration the safety ramifications of evacuating the premises in the event of an emergency. This must be addressed before I would ever stay again.

I was impressed at how quickly our needs were met. The air conditioner wasn’t working in our room. Maintenance arrived quickly and though they couldn’t fix it immediately we were given another room on the same floor.

Staff was welcoming, fast and efficient. The Hotel is old and it shows when you see the details not seen at first glance, old windows sills, scratches and scuffs on furniture that have accumulated over the course of time. Bathroom bathub was slighty discolored and the faucet is showing age with sediment build up near the taps.
