Rome Historic Centre Holiday Packages

We stayed at Hotel La Residenza 18 months ago and absolutely loved the hotel. So much so that we canceled our reservation at another hotel when coming to Rome for the opportunity to stay there again. Unfortunately this time the experience had changed and not for the better. Our room had a smell of mildew or wetness that was quite unpleasant. In addition the last time we stayed the breakfast was delicious, this time it was not too standard, with very little choice and the eggs being overcooked. We truly loved staying at the hotel previously and feel maybe this was just an off day, but unfortunately we only had one night in Rome on this trip. The hotel is in a great location and is beautiful.
