This cottage is set in peaceful, secure park like grounds at the end of a short col-de-sac, a short distance from the Hamurana Springs, trout fishing and Lake Rotorua. The cottage was constructed with wheelchair access in mind and has ample safe parking. 15 minutes drive into the Rotorua tourist attractions .Relax outside in the patio area and stargaze at night with the clear skies or have a glass of wine and listen to the local bird life especially the native Tui's when the cherry trees are in blossom

We were greeted by Jerry with a pleasant smile and a basket of fresh eggs. We had a wonderful stay at the Cherry Cottage and highly recommend it for those who enjoy tranquility, nature, the beach which is only 2 mins drive.

Quiet and serene
A good quiet place to stay and was tidy and clean. The location is just 30 mins out of Rotorua. The Hamurana Springs is next door and is a lovely peaceful walk through the Redwood glade.

A tranquil retreat
This property gave us a great little base to go out from. We were biking in Rotorua and needed a moderately priced, safe and peaceful location to return to. There was adequate cooking facilities to cater for ourselves, a washing machine and our dog was welcome. There was also lovely walking to be had just down the end of the street by the lake.
