Great spot if you are staying on the Peninsula. Fantastic bed! A little on the noisy side with plumbing noise and loud A/C but the comfy bed makes up for that at this price point.

I would definitely stay at this La Quinta location again when I come to the Bay Area. The location is perfect it’s surrounded by many good restaurants and there’s also a huge Safeway nearby. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean, a little old but at least clean. They also serve free hot breakfast like sausages, scrambled eggs, potatoes, waffles and bagels.

Grounds and common areas are nice. Receptionist was pleasant. The problem is the room itself. Bed dips, and when I first pulled back the cover saw a long hair on the sheet, so I'm questioning how clean it is. TV was small (maybe 32") and could not use Roku with it. Bathroom fixtures were old and tarnished. Shower walls had stains. Desperately needs an update.
