The staff were very helpful. The accommodation itself was a little cramped. The door handle on the bathroom door was broken. The accommodation was on the top floor and a little dark. Having said that, we enjoyed our stay and would likely stay here again, given its location.

Decent city centre hotel
All good here for a city centre hotel located right by Orchard Square so lots of good food and drink nearby. Excellent check in and Reception Team were lovely, helpful and super friendly. Room was good, huge 2 floor size, just a tad dated feel to the colour palate (didnt overly bother me) and squeeky floorboards (which did). Would return as its a good safe choice and well located

Lovely hotel near the centre of the city. Was convenient for the swimming centre. Was equally convenient for the winter gardens and crucible. Great staff. Breakfast fine as long as you like a full English or cereal / yoghurt.

Excellent location
Lovely hotel, with a square to the rear with plenty of restaurants and live music. Bar very expensive but staff very friendly and helpful, room clean and comfortable and had a good sized small fridge and lovely big bath and loved the sustainability choice to skip a room service day in exchange for a £5 voucher. We would defo stay here again.

Great Stay and good value
Always a pleasant stay. Great independent hotel. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are lovely whether it be a double or a suite. We stayed in a double for work purposes on this visit but have stayed in suite rooms prior. All great value. Bed and pillows comfortable and lovely clean modern bathroom. Excellent value for money. The location is very good.

A sleepless night due to noisy nightclub nearby
Pleasant looking building marred by the continual loud music coming from outside until early hours of the morning. complained to reception and they said it had been mentioned in the introductiory email sent to me after I booked it. All I can say to that is, it must have been in very small print. So I thought I would do the honours and spell it out in big letters for the benefit of future guest. The hotel is in very close proximity to a nightclub where music plays until 2:30 a.m. So if you are staying in rooms located in the back of the hotel and requiring sleep before 2:30 a.m. I suggest you consider looking elsewhere. Adding to this my bathroom toilet water continuously kept running and the water pipes squealed repeatedly in sympathy to it. only plus note, hotel cleanliness was good as was it's location for public transport links.
