I like the location because the immediate few blocks were fairly quiet but you were a 7 minute walk to the center of Shinjuku, the train station, shopping, nightlife, etc.
Only "oddity", and I suspect this is true across most Japan hotels, was there were no "common areas" to congregate. So nowhere to go in the lobby areas and have a coffee, a snack or do some work. No tables or chairs. But overall, was very happy with the hotel.
