We found it pretty poor for a 5-star rated hotel, on arriving in our room there was no water, no floor mat for the bathroom (but this changed on our second day without us notifying reception) so assuming that the room wasn't correctly set up for our arrival? the mini bar was empty, not even soft drinks or again even water, the restaurant staff were very pleasant, and the breakfast, was very good with plenty of variety, on this one the 5-star rating is based purely on location as it wasn't cheap for the 2 nights, could have been better.

The room was nice , bed was excellent to sleep in . The shower is small and opens inwards so awkward to use, they should of put in a double shower and remove the bathtub. Dinning options around the atea are great. The price of th room should include fresh milk not long life. All in all a nice stay.

Good location. Previously my husband and I were loyal Marriott gold card holders for a number of years and regularly stayed in Marriott hotels. We were very disappointed in the lack of atmosphere and uninviting foyer at this hotel. Felt like transit centre. I chose this hotel to celebrate my special (60th) birthday and quite frankly, I didn’t feel special. Although we were quite early checking in, no attempt was made to accommodate early access to our room. We had just transferred from another city hotel who managed to check us in early - on arrival. The main disappointment however was our bed. On the second night of our stay we climbed into bed and felt the end of the bottom sheet with our feet - it was too short by at least a foot! It was midnight, so we felt too late to complain. So we had to strip the bed and remake it. It seemed that the sheet was too small for the king bed. Why would someone do this - really unacceptable and very disappointing since we remember comfortable beds were always a big focus for the Marriott chain. Also, layout of foyer/restaurant - Too open plan and no intimacy/privacy in dining area/restaurant. Menu very limited. Didn’t feel like 5 star hotel at all. Such a shame.

The staff were all amazing and friendly. They looked after my young daughter when she fell and she loved the attention that she was given. The valet parking was exceptional as I needed to come and go several times a day. The food was absolutely incredible and look forward to staying again.

The location is great and the room is spacious. But the bathroom is way outdated and rusty. The bed is too worn-out and hurt my back. The maid service was terrible. Both days, the maid did not refile teh coffee and tea supplies. We ate pastry on the glass round table and dropped crumbs on the carpet. For both days, the maids did not clear the table and vacuum the carpet. On the 2nd day, we went back to our room near 5pm, the maid was still clenaing our room. She did not refile 2 bottles of water and mouth wash, didn't clean the 2 glass cups. On the 3rd day, the kleenex box was run out, but the maid did not give us a new box. And she did not clean the 2 tea cup and the 2 glass cups. I feel these maids just got hired and did not get any training for the job. In the morning of 4th day, we went back to hotel at 10am and our check out time was 11am. But we could not open our room door anymore. Somehow, the hotel system has checked us out. We had to go downstairs to get new keys. These terrible service is below motel level and this is a 5 star hotel. Very dispointed!

Had to find my own bags, shower was dirty. Vent falli g out of ceiling in bathroom. Had tea and got half a chicken for $35 nothing else with it, i sent it back as the chicken was raw.
