We stayed 4 nights, pleasant stay and quiet room after the lovely man at reception change our room - the initial room was close to loud noise and live music, so make sure your room is on the other side of hotel. The staff are helpful and friendly and breakfast is good. Convenient location.

I found the self check in unhelpful, no guidance/ direction/ explanation of facilities No room at the bar for guests to get a drink Broken down coffee machine, very limited dietary options & discussions about dietary options flagged the same response from several staff … you have to pay 🙄 Staff were generally unhelpful I think Rydges need to smarten their act at this new Rydges property Won’t be staying again

Sad it’s been re branded Rydges. Tank Stream Hotel is a more Boutique name and preferable. Room could at least have had bedside tables with drawers.

Breakfast was terrible. 4 days in a row the breakfast was not worth eating. I've had jerky that was better than the bacon. The hash browns looked like they were part of an oil spill and the scrabbled egg had more things dripping off it than somone in Kings cross.....oh and the orange juice tasted off and the apple juice was watered down.......avoid the breakfast The hotel is great, the staff are great and the location is great.....all of that makes it worthwhile staying there, just avoid the breakfast. Its not worth it!!!

Online registration is new and check in next level - one could argue eliminated the personal touch you often enjoy at reception instead a QR code, room number print out and two cards delivered.
