A wonderful stay
What a lovely place. The room was great. I particularly enjoyed talking to Renin who was looking after the entrance. What a wonderful, warm, friendly gentleman who made me feel welcome every day. I will book again next time in Taipei primarily because of his friendliness. Thank you....

The front desk staff is fantastic. They speak English very well and when they called us a taxi, they would come down and talk to the taxi driver to make sure he understood where to take us.

Decent hotel close to Main station
Older style hotel, lobby is on second floor which you can access by elevator by walking through the reading room. Big spacious lobby with lots of tables where you can sit and meet. Breakfast area is a half floor above the lobby area. Breakfast was included in my price but is optional. I had a room with no windows which was fine with me. Large bathroom with rainfall shower. Bed was comfortable. Room shows a bit of wear but is otherwise clean. Daily room service provided. Staff were helpful and courteous. Everyone knew spme english. Area is full of businesses and restaurants. Closest metro about a 10 minute walk and probably 15 to the airport express.

Large rooms and quiet! The hotel is being renovated, and if you need everything to be brand new, you may not want to stay here. But, for the price, it was excellent. Bed was comfortable, had bath and shower, and multiple stores right next door. You can also walk to a night market.

Their cleaning staff need to be a bit more attentive to the shower area. I was quite happy overall but the cleaning needs more work. Also, due to some construction or renovation work, they had us change rooms.?usually not a big deal but the actual room was considered the same but the room was definitely smaller. Again, the shower room was not well cleaned. The staff were awesome and spoke English very well, also helpful about the area.
