We missed the room cancelation deadline by hours due to the cancelation of our AC flight from Ottawa to Vancouver the morning of our scheduled flight to Vancouver due to mechanical problems and were denied a refund of our $289 room. Not very Christmacy in our humble opinion, as elderly travelers. At least Air Canada rebooked us at no additional cost the following morning.One would expect a little more consideration at this very special time of year.

The lighting in bathroom needs at 100 watt bulbs! The lack of fan in bathroom is a structural problem. The lack of microwave unit is surprising, but again the lack of electrical plug in units is a structural problem for a microwave is the problem.

Good value. Rooms a little dated
Nice location close to Coal Harbour and city centre. Hotel is quite old tho, as was the room. Robes are wafer thin also. Staff were super friendly and efficient
