Beware of hotel with faulty venting!
The room was badly in need of repairs and updating. To be fair there was a big notice saying Reno’s will be done in 2025. The best thing was the view! Amazing 18th floor Harbour view. Unfortunately we had to leave suddenly Christmas night as there was a sudden gas smell in the room. Maintenance confirmed the smell but the manager said it was because of a truck running and exhaust got into the vents to our room. They offered another room but we felt very uncomfortable staying. They gave us a $50 refund which was okay as we weren’t trying to get out of paying for room. I wasn’t going to leave a negative review but upon reflecting back on it we felt they should have given a full refund. We also felt that the manager acted like it was no big deal for exhaust to come pouring into a room. It was at 11pm when this happened and very inconvenient to leave!!

Old room, poor service, not a 4 star!
The room badly needs a renovation. The carpet is uneven, wall switches sink into the cover. They put paper cups in the room for coffee. The hotel has a restaurant but has no room service. This is certainly NOT a 4 star hotel. The reception isn’t professional either. Very disappointed.

A perfect location to explore Vancouver. Right in the waterfront you are a short enjoyable walk to so many neat places. Gastown and the steam clock is a must, along with relaxing strolls along side of the water. Wonderful restaurants and brewery’s all around. The staff are excellent and very welcoming. The onsite restaurant was wonderful and during our stay had live music. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Breakfast area is very cold due to height ceiling glass doors. The hotel should do changes around this atea somehow. It’s not possible to take your breakfast and feel cold. That’s not fun.
