The price was reasonable for the off season and the staff were friendly. The office condition was questionable, there were a lot of water spots on the ceiling but thankfully our room did not seem to have water damage. The rooms could be updated a bit but they weren’t terrible. We were responsible for taking out our trash and if we needed new towels or sheets we had to seek staff for those items. There is a little “game room” advertised that we did not see while checking out the hotel and the outside deck area was not like the picture at all, it was quite disgusting.

Mostly good..good colouring decor and cozy, big bath and love two balconies and kithenette equipped and good size fridge. Good stay and beach front. Well situated.

This hotel is really outdated. The mattress was caved in, the pull out was not comfortable so none of us were able to sleep well. Our hotel room door had a huge crack which made it look like the door could be easily opened. The walls are paper thin. I guess the best thing about not sleeping well is that we were out the door by 7am to go sit in the sand and watch the sunrise.

Dirty, nasty, bed very uncomfortable. Manager was suppose to call me and never did. I left early because the stay was miserable. I got pictures of how nasty the floors was. It’s a good thing I bring my own cleaning supplies. I sent the office the pictures.

The ocean view alone is worth five stars. My room was like an apartment with a kitchen area, living area, bedroom, large bathroom and balcony. I didn’t get a chance to try the jacuzzi tub. Something to look forward to next time. The parking garage was free and convenient. The bed was soft, which might be a concern for some, but I slept well. Great place.

I enjoyed my stay at Ocean Sands. The property is older but has been kept up and was clean. The heated pool and sauna were a great way to relax after a long day. Staff were polite, available, and helpful. The suite was spacious and the full kitchen had dishes, silverware and pans. Very convenient. Loved the balcony overlooking the ocean and boardwalk. Hot water pressure was low, but that's my only complaint and it would not stop me from staying here again.

While the property itself overlooks the beach and has a wonderful ocean view, the room was lacking in the area of cleanliness and upkeep. Hair was in the shower, and the tub itself had a broken section. Also, couldn’t get hot water 3/4 nights there and the water pressure was barely enough to wash and rinse hair. Last morning there finally had hot water and better pressure. Expedia and receipt said 11am check it — hotel staff told me 10am.

The property is a little older but the Deluxe room we stayed in was great. Our other 2 friends came with us and their rooms werent as good. The staff was great... especially the front reception. It was perfect for our get away weekend.
