Finding parking was challenging, even with a smaller car. We had to be dropped off and my husband waited for a spot to open up. He ended up parking elsewhere. Other than that, a great stay so far.

The hotel itself was good. Out dated but good. The parking lot on the other hand... not enough space between vehicles. Saw many vehicle doors get pressed on by other vehicle doors. If you get there after 7, good luck finding a place to park! Had to park across the way because all the parking stalls were filled.

Never be back here again
The toalet bowl was clogged and they had just one staff to take care of all hotel needs including the front desk. At the end the only staff at the hotel told me he has a plunger that he could borrowed me and I could by myself unclogged the toalet bowl, unbelievable. Also the room carpet floor wasn't dirty it was filth! We paid full price for the two rooms we stayed, it don't worth it, for the same price we can find close to here way better options to stay, I don't recommend this hotel at all, it was my first and last time here.

5 stars for cleaning, the hotel is spotless. 24 hours front desk is also very convenient. They do not have breakfast served in the room, that is false advertising. They give you a discount card for the restaurant and that is it. The location is good, you can walk to town and restaurants easily. The only big negative is the train noise It is awful and frequent at night time, even with earplugs. You can feel the grounds shake and your car alarm goes off with it. The restaurant beside the hotel is good, friendly staff and great food. The view from our room was wonderful.

The view from the hot tub overlooking to the mountains is incredibly beautiful! The negative review goes to towel supply, we needed them from the night before we sleep and before checking out.

Chateau Canmore was clean, with nice room amenities including a mini kitchen with decent size mini fridge. We did not check out the hot tub as we were there for a quick overnight to ski the next day. The ski lockup was very handy and secure with keycard acces to the room and padlocks and chains to secure your equipment. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The staff were helpful and professional.

We enjoyed our stay, room was nice and clean, staff were great, pool and hot tub were great. The proximity to the train tracks made for a lot of train noise throughout the night both Friday and Saturday. Maybe rooms on the other side of the building would not be as effected.
