Nice setting.
Property is nice and impressive decor, clean and well presented. Dogs barking made it hard for us to know if they were loose or not during the ins and out as we can see them from a distance.

The house was at a great location- within 8-10 mins drive of several neighbouring town taverns, shops and the Noble Falls. Short walk to the lake. House was welcoming and clean with pancake mix, milk and goodies on arrival. The fireplace heated the house very well in winter and the hot tub was a highlight for the kids.

Great experience
Communication before arrival was great. The property was very clean and came well equipped with everything you could need. Good to see they had thought through for all guests' needs including families with young children. Kitchen well stocked with most things you would have in your own home. Spacious and a really good feel about the place. On our walk into town for coffee the Chidlow locals greeted us and made us feel welcome. Thank you Mark and Fayanna for a great stay!

Chilled out Christmas in Chidlow
Had a very relaxing time here. Super nice property set amongst the trees. Location is perfect for getting away from the city but being close enough for Perth based family to visit. Very welcoming and helpful hosts. Great to be able to leave the car and walk to the lake for a swim and a coffee from the kiosk each morning.

A little piece of paradise in Chidlow
Such a beautiful spot we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed to relax and recharge. A great base to explore the hills. Our only disappointment was the spa was out of order, if we had known earlier we would have rebooked dates, would have topped off a great weekend.

Girls weekend
We all had an awesome time, especially with the bonus hot tub. With 5 of us there was enough sleeping areas but the downstairs area was a little cramped to hang out. Would be better if another one of the couches from upstairs was brought downstairs. Nice bushwalking around the lake and a short drive from Perth.

Location exactly what we were after
Villa Sitella is a good spot for a close family. There is one bedroom and the second bed is on the open mezzanine so would be pretty bright in the summer. The house was very well equipped but be aware there is no oven. The hot tub was lovely and warm but you access it through the bathroom so hard to use those facilities if some one is in it. Proximity to the lake us great so if you like to MTB it is ideal. Unfortunately the owners were unable to source firewood so take your own if visiting in winter. You can buy it at the Chidlow market.

Really enjoyable
It was perfect for our needs. All of the property was neat, tidy, well kept. Kitchenette was full of required items in good condition. Enjoyed the outlook, walking distance to some nice walk trails. Literally the only thing that wasn’t 100% was the soft thin bed pillows. Perhaps will bring our own next time! Would certainly book again.

The hosts are excellent communicators and made everything easy. The property is so well stocked; they've thought of everything. The area is close enough to amenities but far enough to be a lovely escape. There was a barky dog nearby during the first few days but otherwise the stay was tranquil and relaxing. Highly recommend this place and hope to return. 5 stars! Thank you warmly to our hosts.

No privacy
We stayed here for a girls weekend, on arrival everything seemed ok but once we started to actually use the property there were issues. The pull out sofa beds sheets had popcorn all through them so clearly hadn’t been cleaned. The fridge leaked water all over the floor, the guestbook was hidden in a drawer, there were no tea towels, the listing said staples included but there was no coffee. The air conditioner and the dishwasher are ancient and make so much noise that you couldn’t possibly sleep with them on. When we arrived there were dishes in the dishwasher and they had clearly been there awhile because the smell was horrendous. We were woken on the first night by the owners son at 3am with doors slamming and car lights. I also thought that having to pay extra for wifi was a bit much and the ridiculously long list of rules made us feel unwelcome. Also it was not made clear how close the owners are to the villa.
