We visited during a renovation of the foyer and reception so rating reflected that but checks should be conducted on security gates which malfunctioned, restaurant/bar ordering app which overwhelmed staff because it also seemed to malfunction or perhaps it was simply a staff shortage. Those issues aside we would visit again.

I was in a newly refurbished room overlooking the river so that was nice. What was not nice was the fact I could hear the couple next door talking or the fact that I had to ring the hotel to order room service because the phone in the room did not work or the fact that my food arrived cold! The casting connection for the TV in the room also displayed a different room number! Expected a lot better for the price.

Checkin staff were friendly. Room was clean and the view was spectacular. Parking was included for one car which was fabulous. Nil information given about jackhammering on the Monday morning commencing at 08:00. When speaking to staff about same, the male employee was rude and dismissive! We chose to not have our unit cleaned daily, opting for a $10 voucher. We never received our daily voucher for $10 off at the restaurant which was disappointing. Neither of these were addressed at checkout by the same male employee. Maybe some further training and skill development in customer service would be beneficial for front desk staff.
