Pros: Staff go above & beyond. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast enjoyable. Staff member Mini is professional and attentive. Cons: Niksoma is disappointing. Requires a serious upgrade and renovation for the price. The junior suites don’t deserve the room category “suite”. Old. Dated. The toilet holder fell off the wall. The Venetian blinds don’t close properly. The stick for blinds fell off. Requested another room (classic room). Better but still old. Drawers did not close properly. Fireworks early hours woke everyone up. As did the cats that screeched all night. Certain hand towels were grey. Not white. PLEASE RETIRE THESE. Not “hotel” standard. How can you give these to guests. They look like rags. This is a 2-3 star property at best. The pool is very deep. All sides. Both ends. No one can stand up in this pool. No one. Not enjoyable. Wine glasses brought to room as room service request were dirty. Each day same. I would not return here. Not even for free. There a better hotels around for similar price. Don’t chase beachfront when your stay is compromised with low hotel standards. The staff are not to blame. But renovation and life-cycle maintenance have been severely ignored. The hot water system had a maintenance issue which left guests without hot water. Having a semi cold shower was the end for me. Don’t bother with this one. You can thank me later. Lessons Learnt: Think like a hotel guest. ALWAYS. Review standards or lower your room rate to under $100 a night.

Staff were great. Loved the nightly entertainment. Disappointed to be sent a dozen emails saying I could purchase an upgrade, but I couldn’t get a free upgrade for my gold status (no reason given). Breakfast has very little vegetarian options. Other than that, place was exceptional. Highly recommend it.

Stayed at the Niksoma several times over the years It’s a lovely beachfront Hotel with great facilities sundrenced pools in lovely garden setting. But the staff are the best part of the Hotel they are so accommodating and pleasant .

A paradise in otherwise congested outside world
Hotel was everything we were hoping for based on others reviews. Unfortunately, we learned that the hotel will be closing sometime in 2025 for a complete renovation. I hope the staff can survive during this process because they make this place special. There is a lot of congestion in Bali but once back to this hotel you feel relaxed.

Relaxing Holiday
We have been staying here for twenty years we have stayed at many different resorts in Bali over the years but we always come back here because it is in the best position for walking to just about everything and the food is beautiful and have good entertainment every night plus the staff are amazing .Plus it is a small boutique resorts .

The hotel is smaller and friendlier than the bigger busy hotels which we liked. The pool was a bit too deep for me so I was glad that pool noodles were available.

Beautiful hotel great location opposite Legion beach, great pools, pool temperature could get a bit warm in the heat all day. Great breakfast with great service from staff. Overall wonderful.

Very nice pool and buffet breakfast. Convenient location but super busy around the area. Couldn’t hear noise from the room so that was good. Staff very attentive.

Ordinary and tired looking hotel.
We chose hotel to be close to airport prior to departing Bali and to enjoy beach time. Our room was very ordinary and the sea view was through trees and buildings. Bathroom was very dated and high tub difficult to get in and out. The service, as in rest of Bali, was very good. The breakfast offered had good choices. There is outdoor dinning and two large pools.

The property is in a very accessible location. The staff are very helpful and only too willing to please. The room we stayed in was outdated and not what I had expected. It was no different to some of the cheaper hotels we have stayed in, and was disappointing. There was a lot of stairs and wouldn't recommend the property that requires disability access. There were no lifts. Food at the hotel was lovely however breakfast did not have a large variety.
