## The Worst Staff Ever
At the beginning, everything was perfect. But his attitude to us has been getting worse and worse since we refused his suggestions about a snorkeling tour and a boat which were twice more expensive and less suitable for our plan than the ones I googled. When I came to him to ask something, he looked away from me. He seemed not to offer any hospitality with pleasure. The most terrible thing happened on check-out day. He had said to us we could have a free pick-up & drop-off service so we asked drop-off service 1.5h before and he was reluctant to accept it. But he didn’t remember our request (or pretended not to know) and he made us keep waiting for 1.5h without any explanation or notice. We are sure he didn’t want to give us a ride because he made an absurd excuse that it was the driver’s off (but later the driver turned up). Definitely he spoiled our holiday and we felt so uncomfortable while staying there. I have been to 30 countries and this accomodation is the most horrible.

It was ok.
This hotel is about as far as you can get away from the main town as possible. It is on the side of a cliff (views are ok) but its a 15 minute drive on one of the worst condition roads in Bali. It is almost impossible to get a taxi up there so if you want to get to town to eat you either walk 45 minutes or drive your own scooter... which I wouldn't advise unless you were VERY confident (there is very limited transport options on this island). It is pitch black at night at home and quite dangerous. We were 2 young adults (female) and felt quite unsafe after 5pm as there is no hotels or homestays near by and you are just isolated. I had never stayed on Nusa island before- however had been to Bali 5 times. So went by reviews of the hotel from multiple sites. These reviews were seriously incorrect and pained a very different picture compared to what we turned up to. The room itself and the staff are nice and the hotel was clean, but given everything else it was not an ideal location to stay. I would advise staying at either Mushroom beach or along/ near the stretch labeled JI. Jungutbatu on google maps. These two places are the main hubs.
