Property is within walking distance of downtown area. Room was clean and spacious. Just needed a room for the night didn’t explore area.

Nice hotel and great service. A train does periodically come by and is noisy. Unfortunately it starts in the early morning and I could hear it on the 4 th floor each time.

If I ever stay in Modesto, this is where I always stay. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, and I had a cozy corner room. I use the parking garage that connects to the hotel through a walkway. You have to love the cookies they hand out; they're one of my favorite treats. I visited the bar for the first time (it was my birthday) out of the many stays that I've had there, and the bartenders were great. I wish I had their names. The only issue I had was that the first towel I tried to use in the room had hair in it.

We stayed there every year to attend the Gallo concert. Most Convenient Place, Doubletree Hilton. I experienced this year was the train every hour on the hour sounding off their horns. No sleep. Checkout early.

The lobby was nice. Staff was great, but the room was awful. Old mildew smell , very humid in the room to the point the windows were just dripping. If you open the window to get some air then the wind would howl from underneath the door to the room.

Room was very dated and had moles on the ceiling and also the wall. Mattress were old and was sagging. Carpets were dirty. 2nd day we noticed they gave us dirty towels and bed wasn't even made right. They also chaged $12 dollars a day for self parking located crossed street. You have to pay everything even the self serving coffee in the lobby. Just not a good hotel.
