Hotel location & room quality were good. Breakfast day 1 open until 10:30am we got there 9:45am very limited crockery & glasses most hot food had ran out. Tables had not been cleaned. Day 2 we tuned up at 8:50am to be told there was no hot food as the chef had not turned up. We did recieve a refund of $36 but paid €20 per person per night so €80 in total.

Disgusting. Wouldn't recommend at all. Air conditioner filthy, bed uncomfortable, 2 pillows on bed, other pillows in cupboard, neede through out. All yellowing. Fridge not cleaned, covered in dust. Floor dirty. Bathroom, size of cruise ship bathroom. Charging fees for parking for guests. $25 a night. Avoid

The Ibis Newcastle is just grubby. From the entrance to the elevator to the corridors and the room I was in. The bed was comfy, but that is all I can say that is redeeming. Housekeeping needs to pick up their game. Property maintenance should be looked at overall.

My recent stay at the Ibis Newcastle was quite underwhelming. Upon arrival, we experienced a several-minute wait to check in as there was only one worker attending to three people in front of us. When we finally got to our room, we were disappointed to find a noticeable white stain on the carpet, which gave an immediate impression of uncleanliness. Additionally, the room was under-equipped, there were only two pillow on the bed and one spare in the cupboard, all were so thin that they barely provided any comfort. Puzzling why there was only one spare pillow for a double occupancy room. Overall, while the basic amenities were present, the cleanliness and comfort left much to be desired. I would rate my stay as average, and I hope that improvements can be made in these areas for future guest.

Enough to walk to the waterfront and be able to have nice restaurants to eat also the hotel as its own catering happy hour and things like that if you don’t want to go out,
