Nanuku is a rare gem. It is a gated resort so it feels completely removed from the rest of the world. Also, as a single female traveler, it made me feel so safe to walk along the paths and beach after dark knowing that no one could enter the property without a reason. The room was beautiful. They have been refurbishing many of the rooms and I was in one of the newer ones. It was modern and I really appreciated having my own refigerator and a microwave. The best part of Nanuku is their staff!! The people who work here show the heart of Fiji every day. They welcome you like a chief and treated me like a queen. They also went out of their way to include me in activities even as a solo person. Many other places have minimums to take you snorkeling or paddle boards. Nanuku doesnā€™t. Since they have most of these activities on site, they were able to accomodate me for everything I wanted to do. I highly recommend this resort.

Had an amazing experience at Nanuku, the resort and rooms are very luxurious , and very well maintained. The bungalows are private have their own beach entrance, the outdoor jacuzzi looked out into the ocean, its a very relaxing , unwinding experience. Rooms had cruiser cycles which made it fun riding from room to the main hall for dining and other activities. They have daily activities within the resort also and others for those who want to explore local area and other adventures . Overall we loved the experience and cannot mention enough about Fijian hospitality, the staff and people make the stay all the more memorable, will highly recommend Nanuku

The place was stunning no doubt but getting there was difficult. It's at the far end of the island, a 3 hour drive from Nadi airport. I was told that Fiji has 2 climates. While it was sunny at our first hotel near the airport, it poured our entire stay at Nanuku which makes for a poor island experience. Being one who loves to walk and hike and not just sit around, it made it tough. Highlight was Tina, the amazing masseuse, try her out, you will not be disappointed.
