We stayed in a harbour view room with a balcony. The view was amazing. The room was spacious and well equipped. Check-in was very convenient at 1pm, as we arrived on the morning ferry from Wellington. Close to harbour, shops and restaurants. I would stay here again.

Just spent one night before the ferry but enjoyed walking into downtown and driving part of Queen Charlotte Drive, which starts in Picton. The room had a great view of the harbour, though it was a bit small for 3 people.

Lovely views, very clean, easy check-in, within walking distance to restaurants and shops and easy shortcut to the walking tracks . Only issue was the shower water pressure which was not great but otherwise great stay.
