Ocean cliff condo with views of the ocean from both patios.

This ocean cliff condo has views of the ocean from both patios off of the living room and the master bedroom. The dining room is surrounded by three windows with views of the ocean and boasts a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. The condo is in Princeville, Kauai, the Garden Island of Hawaii. This is located on the lush north side of the island. Activities include swimming, snorkeling, surfing, hiking, biking, kayaking, sailing, fishing and pickleball. There is a 36 hole golf course and tennis courts within walking distance . The condo complex has its own private access to the beach by way of a paved path, providing privacy as well as a pool and hot tub. The condo complex is called Pali Ke Kua and ours is #146 in building 11. There is a restaurant on site and three within walking distance. Hanalei bay with it's beautiful beach and the quaint town are only minutes away!

The kitchen has been remodeled in 2020 with new floor, cabinets, counter top and appliances. The living room has a 55 inch
smart TV, the master bedroom has a 43 inch smart TV and the second bedroom a 34 inch TV. All TV's are set up for streaming services. The Spectrum TV app is also available for free use. We provide free high speed internet. The full sized high efficiency washer and dryer are yours to use and there are beach chairs and beach towels available.

In late afternoon the sun shines on the lanai and into the condo. There are shades at the edge of the lanai that can be pulled down to shade the lanai. The window treatments in the living room can be closed to keep the sun out if needed. During the summer when the sun is warmest, keeping the window treatments closed for a couple of hours helps to keep the condo cooler.

Tropical island paradise
This is our second time to stay at this unit. It’s beautifully furnished. We love the view and the wildlife is so much fun to watch. Nenes with babies , roosters (yes, he wakes us up in the morning) red top birds, egrets. Sunsets. Be prepared for mosquitoes. We came prepared with spray , after bite and citronella candles. Only been home a day and miss it.

Great location, comfy living. Everything you need from good beds, equipped kitchen, beach gear on the best location in Kauai to live. Great views in private area. If there was one thing to complain about: being on the first level was well worth having the ground to walk out (sunset, easy access, nene, toads and birds) to but the footsteps were sometimes annoying.

Good Accommodations But No Air Condition
Overall, we had a good experience with our stay. The rental company was great - very communicative and helpful. The overall process was easy. The unit itself was pretty nice, with a great view of the water and accommodations that were great for our family (washer/dryer, great kitchen setup to cook our own food, etc.). The ONLY negative, which was a big one for us, was that the unit has no air condition and gets very warm in the afternoons during the summer. The description of the property was not clear about that fact that there was no AC. This was a pretty big deal for our family as we had to find creative ways to try and stay cool or stay out of the condo altogether for several hours during the afternoon.

Wonderful Location
The location was nearly perfect. 10-15 minute walk to three beaches. Short drive to shops in Princeville and Hanalei. The condo had everything we needed and was very clean, although there was some typical Hawaiian staining and wear in places. The pool looked different from the website, especially when viewed from the Hideaway Pizza that looks directly into the pool, but we didn’t come to Kauai for the pool.

Nice location and unit; in need of a deep cleaning
Overall, we liked the location. The unit is in need of a deep cleaning. There were cobwebs in corners, and I found a large dead cockroach on the kitchen counter behind the coffeemaker. The cookware was not great, with non-stick coating clearly peeling off. The bedding was subpar — bedding had stains, and the master bedroom mattress and pillows were not particularly nice. The unit also had no shampoo or laundry detergent, which other condos we’ve stayed in have had on hand for guests. Finally, the washing machine did not clean clothes well (we purchased detergent and followed the directions posted for the unit). We liked Princeville, but unfortunately would not stay in this specific unit again.

We had a fabulous 3 night stay at this property. It was closest to the ocean (and Queens Bath) so that we would have coffee while listening to the surf. Plenty to do with exploring the North shore of Kauai. This beautiful home had everything you could possibly need. Thanks for beach chairs and towels and snorkel equipment. King bed was SO comfy. Of all 5 places we stayed in Hawaii this was our favorite.

Very nice property with a great view of the coast. It was a bit warm when we first arrived as the high temps were close to 90. Small AC units in the bedrooms would help. The unit had everything we needed.

Amazing view! Fantastic location.
The View! It is a very impressive view that can be enjoyed from many rooms of this condo. Plus, the large grass area in between condo buildings offers extra privacy and a great place to see some amazing night time sky views of the stars. The Princeville Resort offers access to restaurants at the hotels within the property. Although, we enjoyed some local favorites with tips from friends who live here. Nice touch with a cooler, snorkle gear and towels. Did we mention the view?

We really loved our time in this property. The owners have really thought it out and equipped the unit well. We did not experience any trouble not having an air conditioner despite being there on two very hot days. I like that the kids had the lawn to run around on in front of the unit. We didnt really use the beach or pool at the complex but found we were well located. In this complex I would definitely recommend the downstairs units over upstairs which get quite hot.

The description was perfect! I could look out at the ocean from my bed in the morning. It is a fabulous unit and well equipped (snorkel gear, boogie boards, chairs, items in the kitchen). I loved being on the first floor and opening out onto the lawn. My kids played soccer and we loved sitting outside in the evening. We kept the shades drawn while we were out and put on fans at night. We were very comfortable. IF I could have shipped my dogs to the island I might have stayed forever. We really enjoyed our time and hope to return to the same condo in the future. Very relaxing

Perfect Princeville Condo
My husband and I stayed at this gorgeous ocean front condo this last month. Everything about the condo is perfect for a relaxing trip to beautiful Kauai. It was just the two of us but would also be a great spot for a family or two couples. Location is an end unit so it is very quiet and serene. There are two large bedrooms one with an ocean front view and one room with a tropical garden view both have gorgeous newly remodeled bathrooms. The kitchen is also updated and has all the cookware, spices, etc you will need. You have a closet full of beach gear- chairs, cooler, umbrella, toys, etc. The floors in living room are a beautiful hardwood (no longer carpet like the photo). Dining table is surrounded by ocean views and tropical gardens. Location five stars- walking distance to Secrets Hideaway Beach, Queens Bath, St Regis. Few minute drive to FoodLand and other Halalei shopping. Great pool and hot tub, BEST sunset views, perfect North Shore condo all around. They also have a super cute guest book with tons of great recommendations. Can’t wait to return to this little slice of heaven.

Great location with beautiful view
Nice quiet condo on ground floor. Spent hours sitting outside reading and listening to the birds and waves. Condo is well-equipped. There are strong fans instead of air conditioning which worked out fine. I would recommend this place to others.
