Very old bed and furnishings, one towel had dirty marks and the other so worn it had holes. Exceptional service from Dean- he deserves a raise. Awesome location.

Great cheap stay only 20 minutes train ride from Sydney Central Station. It's basic, just rooms above a pub, and we got the shared bathroom deal. Very small room, but it had a bar fridge and kettle, all we needed for a short stay. No lift, so access via stairs only. It ain't the Ritz :) it's an old Sydney pub, but a great place to sleep between day trips and Hurstville is crawling with restaurants.

Room was clean, bathroom very old but clean. Did not like that they took a photo copy of my license & my credit card, even though I paid with credit card on arrival. They advised me when I rang them next day to query whether they destroyed this that this photo copy is kept for 3 months. I am not happy about this at all.

Stayed here for 2 nights, property was clean and in a great condition. Could not find a fault with the place, easy to find and close to the shops and train station. The only downside is that the parking was a bit of a nightmare due to limited spaces but after doing a few laps we always found one. Overall really great stay.

We feared the worse after reading some negative reviews. But upon entering our hotel room we were pleasantly surprised by the clean, well stocked room with aircon on, the room was nice and cool. The new looking larger than most fridge/freezer was a welcomed sight. For the age and location of the hotel the noise was not terrible, quite manageable and that comes from a light sleeper. Overall, very impressed.
