I had not been back to the Sydney Olympic Park since attending various events in 2000. The place has utterly transformed. The Ibis Hotel is very handily located near the train station and there are many eateries close by. Great location.

The property was great But wotif let it down. The reservation was done under a business and was meant to have the business card that the booking was made linked to the room but unfortunately it was not done so some of the workers had to pay with their own money. Not happy at all with this Don’t think I’ll be using worif again.

I was staying on a floor with some school groups and I didn’t hear them throughout the day or night. Not sure if they were just very well behaved or good sound proofing? Bed and pillows choice was very comfortable also.

I requested parking at check in but there were no spots available in their carpark. When I complained I was told to park down the street as they had not charged me for parking. My invoice once I had checked out had the parking charged to it and my complaint has so far been ignored. The hot water was not very hot.

Windows were filthy with cobwebs on the outside, no hand rails for towels in the bathroom. Bathroom floor and basin were not very clean. The extra blanket provided was so thin and didn't provide any warmth.

Very disappointing when you book and pay to turn up to be told there’s no parking available at the hotel and Your to park elsewhere and the closest you can find was a 26 minute walk with all your luggage.

No hot water, mould on the blinds and I'm asmatic and woke up with a terrible cough. Carpet under the 2 single beds was extremely dusty and probably also didn't help my asthma and obviously hadn't been vacuumed and there was a white sock there. Staff lovely beds comfy great position to walk to Hall 5 where kids cheer leading is. We have 2 more in November that we would like to stay here for but not sure now.
