Our room had leaking toilet & broken fridge so i asked to change room. Second room had dirty carpet. Light dimmers for night weren’t working. Triple room had two plates, two dirty plastic mugs & 1 glass to drink water. Room wasn’t able to reduce noise from other rooms. I’ve requested to join two single beds of our triple bed room for me and my wife & leave single bed for my kid, it’s got denied. Beddings were in bad condition & worn out. Duvet didn’t have cover instead was covered with a bed sheet, so while sleeping it just became a mess every night. I wouldn’t stay here again

The remoteness is not in anyway a comment on the great hospitality experienced front the entire Mercure staff. This was my home away from home for almost 4weeks and I greatly enjoyed my stay. The room was a key reason for selecting; the hotel over a closer I is offering; very spacious with a huge wardrobe, big bathroom and walk in shower. The room also had a sink, cups (only recommendation is to include washing liquid) kettle, cutlery and a microwave, (however inline with the notices, probably not a good idea to use the. Microwave unless truly desperate) . The remoteness I referred to has a knock on impact that it's a long way to the nearest station plus you will need to factor in travel costs to and from the hotel. If you don't mi do the occasional walk like myself it's a nice 35 minute stroll in good sunshine. Overall, I greatly enjoyed my Mercure Hotel experience.

Nice room, room service was available and friendly staff. Check-out is annoying as it is a self-checkout screen in foyer. I was double charged for a room service item and didn't realise until I got home. I'm still waiting after 2 weeks to be reimbursed... be careful to check the details before paying at the check-out!

Toilet paper holder fell off the wall. Towel holder due to fall off wall soon. Nespresso machine but no pods. Noisy aircon grill through the night - expanding/contracting loud. Noisy weird water gurgle through the night - loud. Towel still had makeup or whatever on it but it did smell like a clean towel. grubby paintwork. Shower head way too low. And all this in a 'superior' room.
