Loved the location directly across from the beach. Very convenient to many restaurants close by. Did not like noise from the bar until very late in early morning. Rooms on small side, tight areas to put suitcases. Staff very kind and friendly .

Great location and a quaint historic hotel that needs to be preserved. We didn't have a great Friday's night because our Room 4 was penetrated by noise from the Pool Bar till 2 am. Having a second chair in the room would be good. Probably not fixable but using a reasonable amount of water pressure when showering, can penetrate the rest of the bathroom area.

Stayed on a Sunday night to attend a function nearby. Booked the executive suite with bath, room was nice with balcony though did have a strong smell of disinfectant type cleaner (maybe the carpets). Bath however had a faulty plug and wouldn’t retain water, so asked reception if they had another option and only other room with a bath was the queen overlooking the beach. Even though this room was smaller and no balcony it actually had an even nicer feel. Staff were very helpful in this situation. Was a little noisy however but to be expected at a pub in a heritage building - take earplugs an no problem. Also a bit bright overnight with lighting from Corso coming in through the funky glass bricks from bathroom window, so not able to blackout with curtains. We would stay again in this room, just bring ear plugs and an eye mask - nothing beats waking up to the sunrise over the ocean literally right in front of you. Rooms very funky and retro. Very clean. Breakfast options were great and included in price and available til 10am which was a bonus. Checkout at 11am generous too. Car parking is an issue in Manly in general - but a great place to stay with no car.

It was great over all. The room was clean and the location was fronting the beach area was great. We loved as well the free breakfast that has been served to us was really good. Only the aircon in our room didnt functioned properly which added to a littler inconvenience. But in general we love the over all experience. The place is highly recommendable.

Loved our stay - room was clean and well presented, only thing that was a let down was the noise from the DJ Saturday night until 3am. But we knew what we signed up for and it did t come as a surprise! We will be back

Location was great, right in the heart of Manly. We had ocean views but unfortunately the balcony furniture was uninviting so we didn't use it. It's not a place for noise sensitive people as the music pumped from 6am to 2am.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. It was only brief but the check in was easy, location great and friendly staff. Only issue was the tvs Netflix didn’t work and it was after hours when we arrived so was nothing we could do about it but besides that I recommend
