Fantastic hotel, Highly recommend!
This is an amazing hotel in a great part of town. Much of the sites were within walking distance. You feel as though you are staying in one of the palaces of Vienna.

I stayed here for a week. The location of this property, relative to the sites you want to see in the 1st district, is amazing. I could see the Hofburg palace from my window. The Herrengasse U-Bahn station is literraly beside the hotel (underground of course; so you don't hear the trains). You get go anywhere in Vienna from this hotel. Both restaurants are very good and the bar is exceptional. If you're an early riser, the their breakfast restaurant is one of the very few that opens at 6:30 (on some mornings). High recommend.

Old but nice
The hotel is located next to the famous Central cafe. Nice but out dated, with old furniture and no USB outlet in the room. Buffe breakfast is excellent. We spent only one night. My room was hot, we called the maintainance to fix the AC. He came played with the thermometer and gave silly excusses like there are old people don’t like cold AC and this is a central one.. and left.

The location is great. Breakfast is one of the best on my trip. We had and issue and was that we found 2 black hair on top of our bed when we arrive. We noticed them after my wife finished unpacking. The lady at the front desk offer to change to a different room. We decided to stay and they completely cleaned the room again.

Had a wonderful stay. Arrived from an early flight and was pleasantly surprised the rooms were ready. Staff was helpful with recommendations and helping with the purchase of tickets to concerts. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had outstanding choices. Would definitely stay there again
