Older hotel not very well maintained. Air conditioner went out in both our rooms - in August. Furniture, paint, carpeting worn out. No towel racks at all. Pocket door to bathroom was off track so didn’t close completely. Mediocre breakfast was way overpriced. Overall just okay but does not look at all like pictures and we paid much too much. Would not recommend.

Overall, my experience was ok. This is an older building, not updated at all. My room was a little dingy, peeling wallpaper, poorly patched walls/ceiling, and it just kind-of felt like roadside motel room instead of $200 per night DC hotel room (if that makes sense). With that being said, my experience with staff was pleasant, bed was comfortable, towels/bed linens were clean. The location is great if you are in town for sightseeing (I was in town for work, so this was not applicable for me), but if you are expecting luxury, this was not my experience. Website photos are a bit decieving. The extra fees did come as a surprise to me, however, I did find that they were listed in the details at the verrrrrrryyyyyy bottom of the webpage after taking a second look. Would be nice to make that information a little more prominent for people when booking.

Our initial room was not very clean and was not the room we reserved. However after we expressed our concerns the manager he changed the room and all was well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks for the great stay.

The hotel room was clean, but small. The TV didn’t work and neither did the in room coffee machine. Some of the staff was helpful, while others were short and didn’t listen to our needs. I do not think I would stay here again.
